Vineyard
The vineyard is situated on the southeast side of the southern part of Ardèche. It is planted on hillsides and gentle slopes made up of chalky-clay soil and alluvial areas. The climate is typically Mediterranean.
Winemaking
This product is made according to traditional methods, including a short 8 to 10-day period in vats. The fermentation stage is well-mastered between 25°C and 28°C.
Tasting Notes
This wine is a deep red color, with an intense and fruity nose, evoking black currant and dried fruit aromas (sultanas, prunes). Its matter is true to type, with roasted notes, boasting melted and round tannins.
Food and Wine Pairing
Perfect with country-style terrines, roast beef, or lamb, grilled or served with gravy.
Best served at 16°C.
