UVICA LAND was born from a dream: to share the richness of French winemaking with the vibrant soul of Costa Rica. What began as a small importer has grown into a cultural bridge, connecting passionate family producers in France with wine lovers across Costa Rica. We believe wine is more than a beverage—it's a story, a legacy, an experience. Each bottle we import carries with it generations of tradition, sustainable craftsmanship, and the heart of the terroir. Our mission is to elevate wine culture locally, offering not just exceptional wines and gourmet chocolates but a deeper understanding of the people, land, and heritage behind them. At UVICA LAND, we are a dedicated team—and above all, a family—united by our love for wine, gastronomy, and the moments they create.

Community Integration

For us, the most important thing is to be part of the community. So we integrate activities for residents and visitors, such as cultural celebrations with entities such as the CCI (Camara de Comercio Costa Rica-Francia), chocolate classes, wine and chocolate tasting on dates such as Christmas, Easter, Kings' Day, Valentine's Day, among others.

Trade Cacao

Cata Chocolate grows and sources its cacao in the fertile Bijagua valley, shaded by the Miravalles and Tenorio volcanoes. We hand-harvest, ferment, and dry our Cacao beans with meticulous care and attention. Our beans are Trinitario varieties and are considered as some of the highest quality fine flavor beans available. As a tree-to-bar maker of fine chocolate, we practice sustainable agriculture practices on our farm. With significant success, we received 2 stars from the Bandera Azul program.
