Chardonnay comes from the vineyards of Burgundy but has become an international grape variety. It found its soil of choice in Ardèche on clay-limestone plateaus where we find all its power, elegance, and aromatic richness.

Vineyard

The vineyard is situated on the southeast side of the southern part of Ardèche. The Chardonnay vines are planted on slopes at an altitude of 250 to 400 meters on shallow chalky-clay and limestone soils. The climate is typically Mediterranean.

Winemaking

This wine is made according to traditional techniques. Low yields produce fat and length on the palate – thereby resulting in a varietal that is true to type.

Tasting Notes

This wine is a pale yellow color. It exhales elegant floral aromas: white flowers and acacia. The palate is long, ample, and fruity.

Food and Wine Pairing

This wine is excellent as an aperitif. It goes marvelously well with fish dishes or with mild soft cheese.

Best served at 14°C.
