GRAND AVEN

CÔTES DU VIVARAIS Appelation d’Origine Protégée (AOP)

$39.00

Overview
Produced in the south of the Ardèche, on a rustic terroir where the vine rubs shoulders with olive trees and holm oaks, the wines of the Côtes du Vivarais are in the image of their country: mineral and warm. The vineyard draws its sap from the plateau of fats, divided by the spectacular gorges of the Ardèche in the heart of the hilly landscape of the great Causes. This cuvée honors the Aven d’Orgnac, discovered in 1935 by Robert de Joly, located on the terroir of the Côtes du Vivarais and classified Grand Site de France.
