Soil

The vineyard borders the Rhône Valley. The soil is composed of limestone deposits from the Lower Cretaceous period, commonly known as “Urgonian” limestone. This thick base is covered with loess—fine silt dust carried by strong northern winds from the northern plains. These highly porous soils intermingle with Rhône pebbles. The warm, dry Mediterranean climate, strongly influenced by the mistral wind, along with an East/South-East exposure and gently sloping hillsides, optimally enhance the qualities of our terroir.

Winemaking

After direct pressing, fermentation takes place at 16–18°C to preserve maximum aromas. This cuvée is aged on fine lees. Only the first juices obtained from a gentle, direct pressing are retained for the production of this wine.

Wine Description

A deep pink color. The nose reveals fruity aromas of strawberry, blackcurrant, and peach, with citrus and spicy notes on the finish. The palate is fresh, generous, and intense.

Tasting

Pairs beautifully with Mediterranean cuisine and barbecues. An essential choice for aperitifs. Serve at 14°C (57°F).
