Terroir

The vineyard is located in Southern Ardèche. It is planted on drought-resistant gentle slopes made up of soils that are chiefly chalky-clay as well as a small percentage of sandstone. The area’s typical Mediterranean climate is influenced by the Mistral wind that dries out the vineyard and helps avoid diseases.

Winemaking

The harvest is carried out when the temperature is at its lowest. The grapes undergo direct pressing and the alcoholic fermentation takes place between 15°C and 16°C. The malo-lactic fermentation has been blocked to release a livelier tasting profile.

Tasting Notes

This wine displays a yellow-green color. It boasts appetizing floral and fruity aromas (citrus, white peach). The palate is fresh and fruity with mineral nuances and discreet citrus notes.

Food and Wine Pairing

This wine is perfect when mixed with chestnut liquor and goes well with fresh water fish, shellfish, and seafood.

Best served at 14°C.
