MITHRA

CÔTES DU RHÔNE - Appellation d’Origine Protégée

$37.00

Overview
Mithra, the Indo-Persian God, whose function is to look after the truth and the course of the world, is depicted on a magnificent bas-relief of Bourg Saint Andéol, commune of the Rhône Valley.
Wine Enthusiast: “Restrained black-raspberry and plum flavors are accented by notes of crushed granite and char in this full-bodied, textured red. It’s plush and expansive on the midpalate but crisply balanced and cushioned by soft, finely edged tannins.” (88 points - September 2018)
Wine Spectator: “Offers friendly, light-bodied cherry and pomegranate fruit, with pretty lavender and sandalwood hints through the finish. Drink now. 20,000 cases made.” (86 points - December 2017)
