Vineyard

The vineyard is situated on the southeast side of the southern part of Ardèche. The Syrah vines are located on chalky-clay, basaltic, and acid sandstone soils. They are planted on parcels tolerating drought and developing a generous array of aromas. The climate is typically Mediterranean.

Winemaking

This product is made according to traditional winemaking techniques. It is vatted for a relatively long period of 7 to 8 days, with varying temperatures to extract colors and aromas.

Tasting Notes

This wine’s robe is red garnet color with violet tints. Its nose exhales spice, pepper, and a touch of licorice. It is an offering boasting character, matter, and firm tannins.

Food and Wine Pairing

Excellent with marinades, it is well-suited to game and saucy meat dishes. It goes perfectly well with charcuteries (dried ham) and matured goat’s cheese.
